Please do so, especially "up votes". A late note: On the current SAP-owned forum (yes, that's here!), upvotes don't need any reputation points, so everyone can upvote... - and is invited to do so:) asked 11 Nov '09, 09:08 Breck Carter Volker Barth |
Hey Breck. Thrilled you set this up. I'm actually at the Business of Software conference in a round table discussion with Joel Spolsky as I type this. Looking forward to getting to use this. Actually, I'm not really sure how reputation points work, don't confuse me with someone who actually knows how this stuff works, I am the admin :)
Late reply:
I'm neither that someone nor the admin - but I feel the original exhortation could use a "touch" to regain attentation:)
FWIW this question was originally posted on SQLA 1.0. This is SQLA 2.0 and I no longer have any special privileges.
@Breck: Yes, I'm aware of that change.
So now you have to be one of the someones who actually do know, right?
I want to stress this point, we have so many correct answers here in the forum, which are not marked correctly. It would be helpful for all to have a way to accept an answer even if one is not the original questioner. Maybe an extra right for SQLA employees...
Good idea:) - FWIW, forum administrators and moderators certainly do have that privilege...
That being said, I would always prefer that the OP decides for himself whether an answer was "good enough" to solve the issue.
