I have downloaded this file today at two entirely different installations and when I try to run it, I get a message from InstallShield that the file is corrupt

We are aware of problems with the downloads.sybase.com site which results in downloads failing to complete leaving a partial file and no error is reported. This behaviour appears to be specific to browsers other than Internet Explorer so a temporary workaround is to use IE to download the file. If you have used IE to download the file, can you check to see if the file is smaller than the download site reports for that file.

that is exactly the problem. After trying a few more times this morning at different sites with IE 7, 8 and 9 I guess I'll give up and hope the EBF doesn't have the fix for my current problem.

That's HOPE v0.9, isn't it?

Just to close the loop on this, the downloads were working again as of the morning of May 1.

I must have missed to golden moment on Wednesday because my attempt to download 2960 with IE 9 just now produced a file approximately 10% as big as it should be.

But I am happy to report a 2nd attempt did succeed and I now have the EBF installed!
