I am testing a scenario where I want to replay synchronization from the consolidated database to the remote database.

What remote database is being used?

If I assume a remote database is being created on the fly, where would that database be created?

Thank you Ben

mlreplay is used to stress the ML Server, not the remote database.

Your assumption that a remote database is being created on the fly is incorrect. After a recording of the protocol is taken, when mlreplay runs it simply replays the same protocol commands again, possibly substituting different values for remote id and other values based on the way mlreplay is run. The ML Server generates a download stream and sends it to the remote, but mlreplay simply tosses the download stream away, it does not apply it to an actual database.

Thanks Reg

Just curious, is there other documentation that I could find answers to questions like this that is not in the SAP Sybase SQL Anywhere 16.0 » MobiLink - Server Administration » MobiLink reference » MobiLink utilities?

Thank you Ben
