It would save a huge amount of grief, if there was a way to insist that command line set logging parameters are not switched off by interactive users in Sybase Central accepting the default "yes" answer to the question "Would you like to stop collecting ....."

Also, I have a nasty feeling, not yet proved, that if a Sybase Central session is left open and is then timed out out due to inactivity, any current request level logging is cancelled.

A workaround would be to create an event to force (check) the request level logging every 5 minutes or so.
