I'm having a hard time understanding the concept behind User-Extended role in IQ 16, to me, this is a lazy way of creating a role(real one) and makes it difficult to differentiate between, user, user-extended-role and role.

Why, when I create a role using create role, I endup with a user-extended role instead of a "real" role?

More importantly, how can I list the users that are also extended-roles?

I apologize, but this is a wrong forum. People don't support IQ here.

Well, that's not fully true, see the FAQ - to cite:

SAP IQ is also a separate product, though much of IQ's execution engine is based on SQL Anywhere. If you have a question about IQ, you can ask it here, but depending on the nature of the question, we may or may not be able to answer it. If your question cannot be answered on SQL Anywhere Forum, there is an IQ-specific SAP Community Forum located here.
