iqdsn is basically the same tool as dbdsn. To create a system DSN, simply use the -ws switch instead of -w. For example:

iqdsn -ws MySystemDsn -c "<connection string>"

This forum is for questions about SQL Anywhere. I'm not sure you are going to get anyone here that knows anything about iqdsn?

In case there is someone here that knows anything about iqdsn, please tell us:

  • platform
  • version of the software that you are using and the build number

And to help us, please post the usage output from iqdsn - maybe it is just a rename of dbdsn?
