Unfortunately, a PowerBuilder forum, the equal of this forum, does not exist. So, I boldly ask what is most likely a PowerBuilder question, here.

I just read this post and noticed, in that post, this statement...

"The advantage jConnect has is the following: You just have to deploy the jconnect.jar file and you can connect to the database, no version hassle etc."

Do you think Sybase could create jConnect type files (conn-asa, conn-syb, conn-ora, conn-mss, etc.) for PowerBuilder? Is it technically possible?

The image of a world where no client/workstation setup for our applications is necessary, is the vision of... a much better world.
