Hi, we have an application in Powerbuilder 5 wich we are now trying to port to pb12 version, as pb5 is now too old for new S.O. ... Anyway, we installed pb 12.5 with sql anywhere 12 (64 and 32 bit version) on a win 2008 64 bit server. After migrating our application , when trying to launch it we have strange errors with embedded sql. Example : executing this

select "table"."field"
into :myvar
from "table"
where (conditions)
using mytransaction;

returns this error:

SQLSTATE = 37000
[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]Syntax error near 'field' on line 1
the same thing happens with sql anywhere 5, 9 and 12. If I clear the quotations from sql statement it works fine:
select table.field
into :myvar
from table
where (conditions)
using mytransaction;
this works fine.

I believe there is something wrong in my system configuration...maybe I'have to modify in some way the pbodb125.ini, but i don't know how...

Any suggestion will be appreciated!!! p.s. sorry for my english.

I solved by myself by putting the option DelimitIdentifier='YES' for the connection to the DB.

Where do you put the option DelimitIdentifier='YES'?
