While the setup for the local HTML installation for v12.0.1 and below are available as separate downloads on the according EBF download page, there's no such download for the v16 help.

Furthermore, the v16 DCX page "Using The Documentation" offers a link " Download the documentation in other formats", however the linked documentation does only list the v12 doc sets (for 12.0.1 and 12.0.0) but no v16 help.

So how am I supposed to find the v16 help setup to install the HTML help locally?

I have added the following comment to that DCX page...

The link "Download the documentation in other formats" leads to a page that only lists 12.0.1, not version 16. It should go to this page instead: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-35856

Sigh, it has already be answered here by Laura:

Is installing local documentation no longer a possibility?

Hm, seems I have to create a SCN account first...

José Ramos seems to have made some changes on the documentation download page recently, at least now the documentation download is possible without a SCN login. Nice!

Hello Volker and Breck. I have just updated the docs in a few places to clarify where and how to get these versions/formats, and indexed the locations to make the info easy to find. Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for your vigilance and responsiveness on this thread.. and forum!

"vigilance"? I had to look that up - and yes, we're doing fine here without an according v. committee:)
