Installed and configured Sybase ASE 15.5 on a laptop. Database is online and can query database through a System DSN connection I set up. Only way I was able to get it to work was to hardcode an IP address into the hostname field. Tried the hostname, Sybase server name and loopback address(always fails).

This is a laptop that is taken to client sites and is configured for DHCP. Not an ideal setup since the IP changes from location to location.
