Dear Expert,

I am new to Sybase Database.

We have sybase database for SAP, due to some reason one of the transcation file deleted. Now we are not able to start database. Kindly suggest how to start database without transcation log file.

We have taken dump of database and transcation but don't know how to restore the same in SAP.

Your valuable suggestion will be appreciated

Our OS is AIX 7.1

Regards, Abhijit

Which Sybase database product are you using? Your comment that you have "taken a dump of the database" is terminology I would expect to hear if you are using Sybase ASE, and this is a forum for Sybase SQL Anywhere.
