Please be aware that the content in SAP SQL Anywhere Forum will be migrated to the SAP Community in June and this forum will be retired.

Please note that SQL Anywhere 11.0.1 EBF #2427 or later is required if you want to develop applications with Visual Studio 2010 and the .NET Framework 4, including the ADO.NET Entity Framework 4.0.

You can download this EBF from the following location: http://downloads.sybase.com/swd/base.do.

We now provide 3 versions of the ADO.NET data provider, one for each of the current versions of .NET (2.0, 3.5 and 4.0). You will find the appropriate assembly in the folder C:\Program Files\SQL Anywhere 11\Assembly.

Applying the EBF will automatically install the SQL Anywhere integration component to Visual Studio. You can also install it manually by running:

C:\Program Files\SQL Anywhere 11\Assembly\V2\SetupVSPackage.exe /i

Enjoy!

We also just published a paper that describes SA11 integration with VS2010. You can find it here: http://www.sybase.com/detail?id=1080131&siteId=1.
