as alternatives to the FILE, FTP and SMTP message types?

Well, there seems to be a coming 12.0.1 EBF that allows for that - great (and unexpected!) news in my opinion.

It's not yet available for Windows and Linux but already there for Max OS X.

EDIT: 12.0.1.3356 is now available for Windows.

Have a look at that CR number from 12.0.1.3346 - and start to get excited:)

[Note: Dear iAnywhere folks, in general I don't like to announce neither something that's not my product nor before it's available - but sometimes I think a little bit more than the usual "stealth marketing" is worthwhile. I hope you don't mind:)]
