Is the v17 client for dotnet compatible with netstandard2.0 (and thus framework 4.8)?

I'm referring to

which is to say Sap.Data.SQLAnywhere.Core.v2.1.dll

Maybe I don't understand the question - but should this not relate to the application?

If the application is built using .NET 4.8 then the Sybase 4.8 dll is referenced and if the application is .NET core then the Sybase core dll is referenced

Ahh, it was a stupid question. Or at least stupidly phrased. Anyway, my issue has gone away. Thanks for the response.
