It is safe to post. The backup of the existing machine is complete and the setup of the new machine is ongoing. Once it's ready to go, I'll have to take this site down again and do another backup of the SQLA database. Then I can move that backup to the new machine, start 'er up, and we're good to go with no data loss.

I'm afraid I don't know when that will be so I'll update the banner when I know. Thanks for everyone's patience.

Funny that during the migration there's also discussion on how a large customer database can be used during a rebuild/migration...

According to the missing banner, the migration is finally done?

No, it's not complete yet but it really doesn't affect use of the forum. Once it's complete and we're ready to switch over, I'll schedule some downtime to do the move, and I'll add a new banner announcing that. I removed the banner because it doesn't really give anyone any useful information.

Ah, I thought the move was finally done - but it happened to be a disk full problem...?
