A customer wants to test impact of encryption on performance. OEM scenario. Yes, repetitive queries will end up cached and invalidate perf data under automated test loads. Short of waiting for production scenarios at their larger deployments in production, what can be done? Leaving no stone unturned, are there any KPIs to gather on a micro scale? |

Try a workload with a high volume of inserts, updates and deletes.
Also, not sure if the cache would affect encryption overhead.
