Please be aware that the content in SAP SQL Anywhere Forum will be migrated to the SAP Community in June and this forum will be retired.

What could cause this to happen. We have been seeing this occur very randomly and cannot figure out what could be causing it.

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated as I'm lost now.

It looks like your transaction log is possibly corrupted - the best option is to go to your backup.

Can you translate the log successfully using the Log Translation utility (dbtran)?

If you'd like to know more about how your transaction log was corrupted, you might want to consider opening a technical support incident so we can take a look at the bytes in the transaction log where the error is being reported and help diagnose the underlying problem with the file.
