Hi, We have SQL Anywhere 11 on client machines and are planning to use SQL Anywhere 16 on mirroring servers and arbiter. Is there a reason we should upgrade the client machines to version 16? From what i hear, version 11 connects to version 16 just fine. Thanks Aron

SQL Anywhere 11 clients can communicate perfectly well to SQL Anywhere 16 server(s) so you should be fine to not upgrade the clients... but there have been some (minor) improvements in the client-to-server communications as well as client options since v11 which you will obviously not be able to use.

(FWIW: I can't remember what they improvements were!... if I think of them I will edit this answer and add the info)
