Hi All,

Sybase SA 12.0.1 updated to the latest build 3967.

Editing the SQL-text in Interactive SQL or Sybase Central. The mouse cursor, initially as it should be, has the shape of the text cursor. But if you paste in place editing SQL any text (Ctrl + V), the cursor the mouse takes the form of arrow-pointer.

Need to fix it.

Seems to me a really minor bug, anyway if you want to have it fixed open a support case with SAP

Update: This issue has now been fixed in CR #676730 for version 12.0.1.4118 and higher.

This issue has been fixed in all versions of 16.0.0 and up (CR #676730). It is a cosmetic change, so the fix wasn't backported to version 12 - is this a critical fix for you on version 12?

In SA 16 bug fixes this - I know it.

But I use the SA 12, where the error is not corrected.

Yes, I agree that it is not critical cosmetic bug fix but it is still needed.

Okay - thank you for your report. I will update this thread when a fix has been checked in and will provide a build number for you to look out for in a future Support Package (SP) / EBF.
