Is the Web Adition still available? If so, where can it be downloaded from? Everytime I click to download it it redirects me to download the developer edition. Please help.

Unfortunately, the SQL Anywhere Web Edition has been discontinued, and is no longer available for download.

Any existing Web Edition keys that have been previously downloaded may still be used indefinitely (under the terms of the SQL Anywhere Web Edition license), but you may not obtain any new keys at this time.

Looks like competing with the "M" in a xAMP stack is no goal anymore?

The Developer Edition and the Web Edition and the Release software are all the same thing - the difference between them is the key that you use when you run the install. So go ahead and download the Developer Edition software and then use you Web Edition license key when you run the install and you will have the Web Edition software.

Thank you for your reply. I did try that, but the key I received via email clearly states it is a developer edition. I did install it it and actually read the licence that shows after you enter the key, and the licence clearly states that it is a developer ed. and it prohibits deployment to any web server in production, it is only for development.

Who can help me to get a Web Edition Key? Who may I contact to get a key?

Regards

Adolf
