Hello,

I am currently working on a research project using Sybase Anywhere Developer Edition 12. I have 2 db files (1 main and 1 dbspace), since yesterday, I am unable to start my personal server as I keep getting an error "Disk error on 'dbfile', error code (1117)".

I would like to drop this one specific db file from being using in the database and the personal server (it's a lot easier for me to recreate the tables on this one dbfile rather than the entire database).

Could someone please suggest how I can remove this one specific dbspace file without redoing my entire database?

Thanks

According to this question deleting tables of missing dbspace it seems you have no chance, but unload reload the data you can still access. By the way error 1117 means "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error." probably a serious hard disk error.
