August 18-20, 2017 - Schedule outage

The forum was down from about 6:30pm EDT on August 18 until 9:10am on August 22 for server maintenance.

May 10-11, 2016 - Unscheduled outage

The forum was down from about 11:00am EDT on May 10 until 12:30pm on May 11 because of a hardware problem.

May 8-9, 2016 - Unscheduled outage

The forum was down from about 8:00am EDT on May 8 until 12:00pm on May 9 because of a hardware problem.

August 1, 2015 - Scheduled outage

The forum was down from 9:00am to 9:45am EDT to upgrade the database server to SQL Anywhere 17.

April 27-28, 2015 - Unscheduled outage

The forum was down from approximately 8:30pm EDT on April 27 until about 9:45pm on April 28 due to problems with the VM hosting infrastructure.

April 14, 2015 - Scheduled outage

The forum was down intermittently from 8:45pm EDT until 10:00pm EDT to get the Google+ authentication provider working. This time it was successful.

April 13, 2015 - Scheduled outage

The forum was down intermittently from 7:00pm EDT until 10:00pm EDT in an unsuccessful attempt to configure the Google+ authentication provider.

March 28th, 2015 - Scheduled outage

The forum was down from 9:00am EDT until about 2:00pm to install new OSQA software and to enable the new Google+ authentication provider. However after the upgrade, the Google+ provider is still not working. This is being investigated.

January 22, 2015 - Unscheduled outage

The forum was down at 4:10pm EST for a few seconds to install a fix for converting answers to questions.

November 1-3, 2014 - Unscheduled outage

The forum was down from about 11:30am EST on Nov 1 until about 3:00pm on Nov 3 because of a disk failure on the machine.

July 7, 2014 - Unscheduled outage

The forum was down at 1:50pm EDT for a few seconds to install a fix for full-text searching.

March 29, 2014 - Scheduled outage

The forum was down from 10:00am EDT until 11:30am EDT as it was migrated from the sybase.com domain to sap.com.
